As globe adoption of the entrepreneurial mind-set is growing exponentially larger and faster, the golden age of entrepreneurial reasoning,value creation and capture, and philanthropy has arrived. Under that situation, the course of Entrepreneurial Management has become the inevitable development trend of higher education in the knowledge economy era in the 21st century. As an important elective course for business administration students, this course explores and summarizes the general laws of entrepreneurial activity, including the study of the motivation and premise of entrepreneurship, the identification, grasp and control of entrepreneurial business opportunities, the study of the successful conditions and the risk of failure, and puts forward some opinions and countermeasures in view of the difficulties, obstacles and risks in entrepreneurship.
Objective【课程目标】:
This course aims to train innovative and entrepreneurial talents who are badly needed for economic development. The overall goal of this course is to cultivate students’ vigorous spirit of innovation and strong enterprising spirit, and to cultivate students’ sense of entrepreneurship, basic qualities and basic skills. The specific teaching objectives of this course mainly include the following aspects:
1. To make students understand the important position and role of innovation and entrepreneurship in the development of national economy and personal undertaking;
2. To enable students to master the basic theory, basic methods and basic skills of innovative entrepreneurship;
3. To enable students to initially master the ability to analyze and solve practical problems encountered in the process of starting a new business or developing one.
