Course【课程名称】: Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility

Course Description【课程简介】:

This course will focus on the challenges facing business ethics and social responsibility in the fast-changing world of today's business world, in order to promote students' independent thinking and analysis, to understand the importance of corporate ethics and social responsibility, to form the correct perception, and for students. Provide useful conceptual tools to guide analysis and decision making.
The basic concepts and theories covered in this course include ethics and law, moral responsibility, the development of moral theories, moral decision-making, and corporate social responsibility theory, and apply these conceptual tools and frameworks to the treatment of various stakeholder groups, such as shareholders, Employees, consumers, suppliers, the natural environment, communities and governments. The ultimate goal of this course is to enable students to better identify issues of business ethics, to think critically, and to address ethical issues at the individual, organizational, and social levels encountered at work.

By studying this course, students should be able to do:
1. Identify ethical issues in China and the global business environment
2. Understand and apply the knowledge of ethical principles
3. Apply moral reasoning and critical analysis to practical scenarios
4. Develop critical thinking skills by applying these concepts and theories to business cases.
5. Raise awareness of corporate social responsibility challenges.

本课程将主要讲述在当今商业世界的快速变化中,商业伦理与社会责任面临的挑战,以促进学生独立思考和分析,了解企业伦理与社会责任的重要性,形成正确的认知,并为学生提供有用的概念工具来指导分析和决策。
本课程涵盖的基本概念和理论包括伦理与法律,道德责任、道德理论的发展、道德决策、企业社会责任理论,并把这些概念工具和框架应用于各种利益相关者群体的处理,如股东、雇员、消费者、供应商、自然环境、社区和政府。本课程的最终目的是让学生更好地识别商业道德问题,进行批判性思考和解决在工作中遇到的个人、组织和社会层面的伦理问题。
