Course: Organizational Behavior

Course overview:

Organizational Behavior (OB) can be defined as the understanding, prediction and management of human behavior both individually or in a group that occur within an organization. Internal and external perspectives are the two theories of how organizational behavior can be viewed from an organization’s point of view. In this tutorial, we will be learning in detail about both the theories. While working in an organization, it is very important to understand others behavior as well as make others understand ours. In order to maintain a healthy working environment, we need to adapt to the environment and understand the goals we need to achieve. This can be done easily if we understand the importance of OB.

Objectives:

To explaining the interpersonal relationships employees share with each other as well as with their higher and lower subordinates. The prediction of individual behavior can be explained. It balances the cordial relationship in an enterprise by maintaining effective communication and helps managers to encourage their sub-ordinates.
To predict human behavior & their application to achieve organizational goals and helps in making the organization more effective so that any change within the organization can be made easier.
Thus studying organizational behavior helps in recognizing the patterns of human behavior and in turn throw light on how these patterns profoundly influence the performance of an organization.

【课程介绍】:
组织行为学(OB)可以被定义为一门理解,预测和管理组织内发生的个体行为或群体行为的学科,内部和外部视角是研究组织行为的两种重要理论。在本课程中,我们将深入了解这两种理论。在组织中工作时,了解他人行为以及让他人了解我们自身的行为十分重要。为了维持良好的工作环境,我们需要适应环境并了解自身需要实现的目标。而当我们充分了解OB的重要性时,这些便很容易得以实现。

【课程目标】:

1.解释员工之间及其与上下级员工之间的人际关系。员工的个体行为是可以预测的,并且它可以通过保持有效的沟通来协调组织内的各种关系,从而帮助管理者激励他们的下属。
2.预测人类行为及其运用以实现组织目标,促使组织更加有效,从而使组织内部的变革变得更加容易。因此,研究组织行为有助于识别人类行为模式,并反过来揭示这些模式如何深刻地影响组织的绩效。
